What is extend art — and does it damage my card?

Extend art frames your sealed graded slab with a custom, hand-crafted background — the case is never opened, so the card and grade stay untouched.

What is extend art — and does it damage my card?

If you have ever wished a graded card's artwork could spill past the tight crop of the slab, that is exactly what extend art does. We take the illustration on your card and continue it — the sky, the landscape, the energy — onto a printed backing that frames the whole graded case.

The sealed slab stays exactly as graded; the artwork is extended onto the printed backing around it.

The result is a display piece: the card still reads as a slab, but now it sits inside a wider scene built around its own art.

FAQ

Does extend art damage my card?

No. We never open the slab. The card stays sealed exactly as it was graded — the extended background is a separate printed piece that the slab sits against. Your card and its grade are completely untouched.

Does it work with PSA, CGC, BGS and TAG slabs?

Yes. Every major grading case is a standard size, and we build the frame to match. Whether your card is in a PSA, CGC, BGS or TAG slab, the extended art is cut to fit that specific case.

Do I need to send you my card?

Not for the artwork. We create the extended background from a high-resolution image, so you keep your card the whole time. You receive the printed piece and set your slab into it yourself.

Can you extend any card?

Almost any card with artwork we can reference cleanly. Some heavily textured or full-art cards take extra work to extend convincingly — if a card is tricky, we will tell you before we start.

Is it a digital download or a physical print?

Both are available. You can order an instant digital file to print yourself, or have it printed and shipped from Thailand ready to display.
